It is a nice place to visit. Not in my top 10 visits in Madrid. Nowadays there is no activity in its floor....everything is handle remotely.

The symbolic heart of the Madrid stockexchange. Today everything is handled electronically on a server outside the city but you can see the trading floor where 1000 traders used to cram (according to our guide) and shout orders. Very nice building. Theres still some trading terminals there where brokers apparently bring their clients for some nostalgia I think. Also a nice big board with changing prices.
