I stopped in my first day in Madrid and had an espresso. Javier, one of the owners, was so kind and, after I told him I was travelling on my own, took the time to make some great recommendations of things to do/see. I came back a few more times during my visit, once for another espresso and a delicious warm artichoke plate, and again for Javier's margarita. He told me it was the best in Madrid and so I had to try it for research purposes...:) It was fantastic, like everything else I tried here. Most of all, I would return again and again for the warm hospitality.

Some friends and I stopped in for a drink last night and fell in love! The drinks were amazing and the bartender, Ruben, was an absolute sweetheart. As it was a friend’s last night in Madrid, Javier— the sweetest barista, was kind enough to give us a guide to cute/fun places in the city. Basically, I’m a fan and can’t wait to return.
A lovely place in a really cool neighborhood. Javier was delightful and the ambiance and drinks were fantastic! It was especially kind that Javier took the time to speak to us about our trip, where we were from and what we were doing on our vacation like normal people even though we were tourists. What a wonderful experience in a really clean and friendly place! This is a must stop while in this neighborhood for anything!
I was travelling for work in Madrid for a few days and I came to this bar randomly in the afternoon as I had to wait for an appointment in the neighbourhood. This is so far my best experience in a bar in a city I am travelling in. Javier, the owner, makes you feel very special, on top of welcoming me with big smile and caring about my order, he introduced me to other guys sitting at the bar like me and I enjoyed an interesting chat with a couple of American tourists. When I noticed I had to leave I felt like how times goes so quickly when you are having fun ! This is why I came back a second and a third time and I enjoyed it again with new people (Belgian, Indian, Spanish) thanks to Javier! Don’t miss the place it’s a great one ! Great place in a perfect location. Nice background music for sharing a coffee, some casual food or just an amazing cocktail with friends. I will definitely come back!

This is such a great place for a drink or coffee. Noticed some people with food too, however we did not have any. But I highly recommend!!
This was my first time having tapas and it was AWESOME! Javier was super nice and helpful. I had duck pâté and a special sardine tapas from Northern Spain. SO GOOD. 10/10 would recommend! He also gave us tons of recommendations for what to do in the city! And he was very patient with my lack of Spanish knowledge haha
