The fashion industry is known as the second most polluting in the planet. Our scope is to increase the awareness and to educate the public about these environmental impacts. However, beyond these issues we focus for example on fast fashion as a social issue, by promoting and instigating ideas that challenge this predominant phenomenon. Leaving behind our sense of guilt and conscious about our limits, knowing how hard it is to limit fashions consume at the present low prices, we offer complementary alternative. We start by promoting care of textile at home, from cleaning, ironing and repairing, to alternating and transforming of clothes and finally swapping it in second hand stores. Part of our discussion focusses on the increasing rate of the textile use and waste. How much we consume and waste each year? If not recycled, where we dump this waste? In the current situation of lake of proper laws that regulate and tax the textile production and waste, it is mostly shipped away and turned into mountains of waste in undeveloped countries.
