Lovely wine estate set atop the canyon of the Rio Sil offering tours of the wine cellars and a shop to buy any products of the estate. There are several tours during the day so phone and book to make sure theres availability.

A great, sprawling monument to one man's narrow, Stalinesque ambitions. The buildings and god-awful, tasteless statuettes distributed about the property are an insult to any decent person's aesthetic. Owner has taken a hillside, stripped it and planted vines and built an ugly house on the top. It's a crime. Wine is okay, but that's it. Vaya bodega tan feo como El Fari chupando limones. Un insulto a la vista (dios! estatuas y estética que asusta) y un monumento a las ambiciones de un hombre rico y con conexiónes. El vino no está mal pero hay otros lugares mejores.
Te explican un poco la historia del vino de la Rivera Sacra, de los distintos tipo de vino que hacen. Del modo heríco de recolección de la uva. Te muestran la bodega. Después te ponen un video con imágenes bucólicas del metodo de recolección y elaboración de los vinos. Luego te hacen una degustación de dos vinos, con explicación y como ver las características de esos vinos. Como colofón te invitan a terminarte los vinos en la terraza, si hay un buen día las vistas son IMPRESIONANTES. Me imagino que es lo que diferencia esta visita a otra de otras bodegas. Merece la pena. Las chicas que te atienden son muy amables y agradables. Al finalizar tienes la tienda por si quieres hacer alguna compra.
