Food and drinks were great but not so welcoming, we had to ask multiple times for a table

The place is super cozy and service very fast. The chicken seemed to be the signature dish so I went for it. It was tender inside and crunchy on the outside. Perfect! No need to add extra sauce if you like the original flavor. Someone with us took also the ribs, which looked also very well done! Definitely recommended for a “simple” yet delicious dinner. They also serve some very good bottled beers! And as a cherry on top, it’s very affordable.

Went yesterday for a late lunch and loved that their kitchen is always open! We were told we’d had to wait 30 min to get a table but it was actually much faster than that. You can wait comfortably in the bar area where you can start ordering your drinks. Liked that they have 1 gluten free beer. Once seated service was fast. We had a view of the wood ovens and everything looked and smelled amazing. I really wanted to try the chicken which I saw coming out for another table but my daughter wanted to share a rack of ribs so we got the ribs instead. They were good although I would have preferred the chicken. I guess I’ll have to come back to try it! We ordered roasted tomatoes in garlic and parsley sauce and they were such a good side alternative since I didn’t want fries. Lemon pie was good too and overall we had a good meal. Prices are very reasonable considering it’s the center of Madrid and a busy area. Only thing that disappointed was that being a nice looking place everywhere else, restrooms were horrible. They only have 1 all gender bathroom. That means ONE bathroom only for everybody in such a busy restaurant. That is A LOT of people for just one bathroom. We went in and out without using the restroom because it was disgusting. I think they should take better care of those things.

One of our favorite places in Malasaña. The char grilled chicken is fantastic and so is the brisket sandwich. The mood is always chill and the waiters are nice and knowledgeable. 5 stars
