I have fondly been a client of Leroy Merlin in Moscow for years but unfortunately I'm having much trouble even getting the most basic information about my order here in Madrid.... I'm unable to get the information when my order will be delivered. It's holidays and it is very inconvenient to wait for a delivery when I don't know when it'll be delivered. The delivery date I chose has passed and I did get a call from a person on that day saying that he couldn't enter the centre of Madrid. I think it's very clear my address is in the centre of Madrid when they set off to deliver. And they should have arranged the permits like all companies too. I have things delivered all the time but never had this issue. Customers should not be asked to make arrangements for them to enter (which was what the delivery person asked). Especially after paying for delivery services, this should not be the case. As I'm a Dr I have a busy schedule and I was still made to wait 3 days for a delivery that didn't arrive. I called the support service and I'm getting a very vague response, that they don't know when it will be delivered. It may be today, tomorrow, etc... That I must wait.... I could not even get a contact number of a delivery company. Extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism and customer \support\. It takes long to get a loyal customer and one bad experience to lose one. Did not expect this level of professionalism by Leroy Merlin as I've had years of good experience. Was expecting the same from the Spanish branches, sorry to say. I'll change the rating if I can get a reasonable and exact response.

It's fine for smaller DIY projects and other basic household needs, but assortment is often lacking and the store is often extremely crowded. Especially on weekends. Considering the tight spaces, I wish they'd limit the number of people inside the store in these times.

Visited this store a few days ago and so far has been the only one where I have managed to find an accurate solution for my needs. Martin, the salesman (Martin) helped me to figure the enigma out and we managed to find a partial solution, including “Standers” bolts & nuts w/ nylon inserts lock nuts – and this is a must for skateboards trucks. The standard skateboard bolt/nuts (10-32) are not metric! The bolts available at Leroy Merlin are 5 mm and the nuts are slightly smaller. They’ll get the job done and far cheaper than any local skateboard store. You may also find wood screws that can be easily used w/ guard rails, tailbone, nose-guards, etc. Also, I found outstanding tools – Dexter – for all components and they are quite sturdy and seem to be indestructible. This is the first time I have seen this brand and their tools seem like they’ll get the job done. My experience has been worthwhile and store personnel were nice with me and the cashier team was quite nice as well! Nonetheless, I feel they have to improve their hardware knowledge. The location is quite convenient and close to Nuevos Ministerios Station. I’ve taken a few shots of the assembly process.
