Good atmosphere and location but only so so food. The nachos and pizza were edible but not memorable. The service was good.

Such a good job. It is a traditional Irish pub. I felt like I was in Ireland.
Average food and service however probably expected for 8 euro burgers. Still no excuse when it doesn't take much to grill the buns and improve the fillings and salsa etc.
This was the first restaurant we saw after getting off the bus to Las Palmas from Telde, and we went inside thinking we'd get lunch, but we quickly learned that breakfast went on until 12:30, so we ordered from the breakfast menu. We were pleasantly surprised to see generous portions for such low prices! For about 4, I got tea, a glass of fresh orange juice, a Spanish omelette mini sandwich, and a bacon and cheese mini sandwich! Great deal, especially given that it's in a very tourist-filled location.
Staff doesn't speak ENGLISH in an IRISH restaurant in one of the most touristy places. An absolute joke.
My wife thinks it called McCarthy’s Gran. Which makes me laugh. The beer is cheap (it is Spain) and the menu of solid pub grub is well priced, solid fair. We came to sink a few beers after shopping, played card games, and nibbled on no frills hotdogs (cheap and good) and nachos (expensive and underwhelming). It’s a pub isn’t it. I like pubs.
Ordered a ham and cheese sandwich (toastie) with chips, toastie good, chips a little under cooked, but tasted good. Reasonably priced.
Great place. Pub restaurant. English breakfast was lovely and very reasonably priced. Staff polite and friendly. Would recommend.
