We did the route through the natural park, from the car park almost to the waterfall \El Chorro\. There was the two of us and our 11-month-old son. My husband carried baby on his back in a baby wrap. Path was easy to follow, some places were quite narrow, others had overhanging branches, but in general an easy trek. The first set of cave paintings required walking up some very steep rocky steps. There is a rope handrail to help you but prepare your legs for the steep climb! There are plenty of natural pools made by the river which are crystal clear and you can even swim in some of them. Even at the end of July water is very cool. We would recommend some kind of water shoe if you plan to take a dip or just walk through, as the bottom is covered with stones and a bit uncomfortable/slippery to walk on. We didn't quite make it all the way to the end of the route as our son started to get fidgety and we were a bit tired too. We chose one of the natural pools to sit down and have our sandwiches followed by a quick dip in the clear water. Our recommendation would be to start no later than 10am (in summer as we did it) so that it is still cool, and take at least 1 litre of water per person with you. There is quite a lot of shade early in the morning but as the day wears on some of it disappears leaving many sunny spots.

Amazing nature location, surrounded by forests and rivers at the proper time of the year. Lost Theory festival is also being made around this location, so that's proof they found a nice place :)
