Perfectly doable walk to the lighthouse with stunning views of the sea, Albir, Altea and Calpe.

Pilgrims Place

Gentle 2.5km walk along tarmac path. Undulates but not really so you'd notice until you reach the lighthouse. Great viewing points along the way. Take a drink with you.

Beautiful area to walk to the lighthouse or ancient ore mines. To the lighthouse is fully paved road, easy to walk even possible with wheelchair, strollers etc.

In just over 5 kilometers - round trip - you can enjoy cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean Sea; see the entire coastline of L 'Albir -the most inhabited small town of L'Alfàs del Pi, Alicante- ; see Calpe's Peñón de Ifach in the distance; know various coves such as Cala del Metge; go through a tunnel; see the views offered by several spectacular viewpoints; visit an old ocher mine; and visit the Albir lighthouse, currently transformed into an Interpretation Center.

great walk and great views.... easy acces also for with a trolly .... but really misses a cafetería.....that would make it even better
