I strongly recommend Lacunza Spanish School. I have been able to tailor my experience attending both a group course and one-to-one sessions. I have found their teaching method very easy to follow and helped me to improve a lot both in writing and in speaking. Lacunza helped me to select the right accommodation and even to book leisure activities in advance so I have been able to enjoy every minute of my stay in San Sebastian. Lacunza's team and its students from all over Europe were very welcoming and the city of San Sebastian is super cool with great beaches, delicious food, and friendly people! I learned a lot at Lacunza and certainly will be back next year !!!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Lacunza. The program met all the needs of our family: a kid's camp for my 11 year old, a teen program for my 14 year old and an adult program for me. In my life I have attended over a dozen language schools (I speak 5 languages), but Lacunza distinguishes itself with its welcoming families for the home stays, the enthusiastic and knowledgeable instructors, and the sheer beauty of San Sebastian. The kids enjoyed the optional surfing and cooking, as well as many other organized activities. They returned to the U.S. with both new Spanish skills, and more importantly, new life skills. They both greatly appreciated the hospitality and warmth of our new Spanish \families\, gained confidence by getting out of their comfort zones to live and communicate with others, and they have a great desire to continue to improve their Spanish. There was something for everyone at Lacunza. It was a life changing experience for the kids and a chance for me to really embrace the wonderful culture of Spain.

Great school, great teachers, great atmosphere. I can't describe with enough words how happy I am with the experience I got at Lacunza. The staff is nice, helpful, welcoming and are there for you for anything you need. The teachers are professional, knowledgable and able to make the classes a lot of fun too. The city itself is great. Very safe, still lively and the school has a perfect location with a big park as back garden and very close to the beach. I would say Lacunza is the perfect travel destination for families, solo-travellers or friends who would like to combine a great city trip or beach holiday while improving their Spanish. A big thanks to the great team of Lacunza! I hope to see you soon!

The teaching in this school is second to none. I have gone back there several times and have never been disappointed. They understand how language learning works and achieve rapid progress with most students. They are very enthusiastic and motivating. Outside the classroom, San Sebastián is a wonderful city for the tourist. There is always something new to see or experience. If you need a change, buses from the conveniently located bus station can take you anywhere in the Basque Country or beyond.
