Cozy, welcoming, specialized cafe. Few steps from Lope de Vega museum. They have two options chocolate cake. I have chosen 60% -the higher, and thought it will be dark chocolate like, but was very sweet in my taste. Should suit chocolate lover. Wide smiles and warm attitude from the owner/ shop attendant.

Stating the obvious, expectations were high, given the name of the place. Unfortunately not met at all. It was a takeout and once we were given the bag, we had to check it wasn’t empty, due to its light weight. We actually weighed it at home and it barely made 70 gr! No matter how amazing this cake is, 4,5 for 70 gr of food it is outrageous. Still, open minded we gave it a go. It is not a cake per se, it is more like a (light! Did I mention light already?!) pie. Layers of chocolate mousse alternating with chocolate merengue. Yes, it tasted good. Is it the best chocolate cake/pie in the world? Not for us, but we can understand people enjoying it.

The Place it's really cozy but it needs more heaters. I liked more the almond cake than the chocolate 70% cake but that's my personal opinion. The service it's great! I'm not sure if it's the best chocolate cake in the world but definitely it's very good!

I would said this cake is unique, maybe not the best chocolate cake in the world but at least the first I have tried cooked that way, it has only few ingredients and no flour with options to choose the percentage of cacao you prefer. The place it’s cosy, with creative decoration and the service is friendly. The coffee shop is very small so you probably will find a queue to get a table but would be worthy to wait.

Not like a sponge cake I’m used to but definitely delicious and a must try. It’s tasted like a KitKat bad but well if a KitKat bar was made into a cake and then baked in heaven. I recommend trying both potency’s of chocolate. Both were divine.
