Was exactly what we were looking for. Rural with easy access to the coastal towns. This ticked all the boxes being nestled at the base of the Sierra Montsia mountains but only 20 minutes from the coast with beaches etc. Food in the area very good and very reasonable. 3-course lunch with wine and coffee from 10 to 15.\u003cbr/\u003eOver the valley, just a few minutes away were caves used by the ancients with cave painting dating back 8000 years. \u003cbr/\u003eThe area is still one of those places where people would settle and enjoy the benefits of an easy existence.

We visited La Casita late in the season during the local fiesta, fabulous. What a week.\u003cbr/\u003eSo many wonderful beaches to choose from, our favourite Peniscola. \u003cbr/\u003eLa Casita has everything, fully independent with a ten metre pool to laze about in surrounded by olive trees and beautiful mountains, we barbequed every evening around the pool.\u003cbr/\u003e I am an amateur bird watcher saw bee eaters, harriers, eagles and more,\u003cbr/\u003eThe owners were there if needed and very helpful but left us well alone.\u003cbr/\u003eSuper holiday.

Lovely self catering accommodation, very well equipped with everthing you need. Fantastic pool and the host are extremely friendly. There is so much to see in the surrounding areas. Highly recommend!!
