Normally I prefer a small group tour to the big bus outing, but as it is so late in the tourism season Julia Travel was my only option to see Avila and Segovia. I really was worried about being lost in a huge group but it never felt that way. Fortunately our tour was lead by separate Spanish and English guides, (apparently this depends on the time of year). This divided the large group on the bus almost equally, shrinking the size. Julie uses a RF Transmitter mic for the guide and very unobtrusive earpieces for the guests. This made it so I could always hear our guide, even when I was trailing behind. Our guide was great, providing pertinent information and color about everything we were seeing. The walking pace was moderate and never did I feel like we were speed walking to the next site. Our guide was also very careful with our path through the towns, making sure we were aware of vehicles and other dangers. The only thing I can say that would be a negative is that I wish we had a little more time at the Avila wall and Segovia Aqueduct. Other than that it was a great tour that I am happy I went on.

We booked three activities with this company, the city hop-on-off bus, Toledo half day, & full day to Avila & Segovia. Personally the city bus was a waste of time, we waited an hour then it was stuck in traffic. We passed people that wanted to get on but it was full & drove past them to their disappointment. But the two guided tours were excellent, very informative & the tour guide were great. The coach was comfortable & exceptionally clean. We did see cheaper tours as we walked around but personally I was happy to pay a little extra.

1/2 day tour to Toledo. Beutoful and authentic city but tour could be improved. It's in Spanish and English; E only option would be better. Mandatory stops for shopping aka tourist trap. The only refreshment was a vending machine for like 60 people. Also bus crowded and takes time herding them around. City interesting though; go to Toledo but not w these guys. Fruit loops.

We took a day trip to Toledo and it was fun! The tour guide was very friendly and had great information to share. However, I wasn't a fan of the larger group size and we felt so rushed at the sites. We also opted to have the meal included so we didn't have to search for things, but regretted that. The food wasn't good quality. Overall, we still enjoyed the trip and the sites were great!
