We visited here whilst on a cruise and spent a pleasant hour wandering around the exhibit. A short film is played at the onset to give you background information on the carthagenian struggle with the Romans. The catacombs are quite eerie to view especially with the skeleton murals. The glass flooring provides an extra dimension to the atmosphere.

Excellent place to learn about the history of the city AND the Punic Wall. There's a video which is informative. After the visit you can actually see what the wall meant. And you will quickly understand why museum looks odd from the outside.

To touch history is amazing. The building that gives you a idea of what wall looked like 2000 years ago, makes it even better.

Expected much more. Walls are only partially intact (as you'd expect, I guess). The staff were incredibly friendly and sorted the visual presentation for our native language, as it is a DVD player projection in a room (many languages are available). Worth doing it for this visual presentation alone. Very informative. Gives you a context of the role of Cartagena in ancient European history and how the wall came about

Very interesting visit with a short introductory film to watch before looking at the remaining archaeology.
