Fruto de este fecundo maridaje caben señalarse los siguientes hitos en la trayectoria del Instituto Bernabeu: * Primer embarazo en la Comunidad Valenciana por FIV en 1987. * Primeros y únicos casos de embarazos conseguidos con espermátidas en España en 1998 y 2000 * Primer nacimiento en el mundo de una niña libre de retinosquisis, ceguera hereditaria, por técnicas de Diagnóstico Genético Preimplantacional, (DGP) en 2004. * Primer nacimiento en el mundo de un niño libre del Síndrome de Marfan, una enfermedad hereditaria, aplicando técnicas de MDA en Diagnóstico Genético Preimplantacional en Febrero de 2006. A fecha de hoy se superan los 200 trabajos de investigación científica que se han desarrollado en nuestra Institución respaldados por publicaciones científicas de primer impacto. Actualmente, el Instituto Bernabeu cuenta con cuatros sedes: Alicante, Elche, Cartagena y Benidorm, donde aúnan bienestar y comodidad con tecnologías vanguardistas y con un Departamento de Atención al Paciente Internacional, para atender a pacientes que solicitan tratamiento desde otros países.

The best decision I took was making the call and booking an appointment with the endometriosis unit. Doctor and nurse were amazing, delicate and caring. All women to be listened and cared for like that. Special thanks to Doctora Moliner.

I can’t praise this place enough. All the staff were very professional and caring and after 3 unsuccessful attempts of IVF in the U.K. on our 4th cycle we now have beautiful baby twin girls. They are the light of our lives! We used donor eggs due to my age (40s) but I would recommend them whatever treatment you have. They rigorously test any issues you may have and ensure that you are in the best of health to maximise your chances of conceiving. I found the service to be of high quality and I felt comfortable throughout the whole process particularly as you are assigned a rep that sees you all the way through with care and sensitivity, answers any questions you have and genuinely roots for you. Thanks particularly to Virginia A and Dr Cirillo but the operating staff, embryologists and donor egg dept were amazing too! Thank you!

This review is written from the other side. That means I am not a patient, I am a doctor who is passing there (for reasons I will not go through). I am not a member of the medical team nor do I take any kickbacks or a salary from IB. Now that has been said, Instituto Bernabeu is an amazing place. The doctors, nurses, embryologists, secretaries... and essentially everyone who works there is extremely kind and amiable. This is the kind of place I would die to work in. They have the best knowledge in the field, and employ the latest technologies to help people who really need it. If you want the best in infertility treatment, compassionate doctors, helpful staff, a team that knows what they're doing, an extremely high standard of ethics, as well as a bang for your buck, this is the place to be. The reason I am writing this review, is that I have had the chance to get access to things the patients don't see. And while the patients are usually overwhelmed by their own medical issues, I had the luxury of seeing how things run as a some what detached third party. Suffice to say, that if I ever have problems in conceiving a child with my partner, I would feel the safest in their hands.

Il mio compagno ed io non potevamo concepire e abbiamo fatto uno studio di fertilità. Si è scoperto che il mio ragazzo aveva un basso numero di spermatozoi con scarsa mobilità, e che la morfologia era anche alterata. Abbiamo iniziato il trattamento e attendiamo i risultati dell'impianto che saranno pronti tra qualche giorno. Siamo fiduciosi. In caso di fallimento, continueremo a provare con questa clinica per la loro dedizione e attenzione. Ci sentiamo al sicuro.
