The person behind the desk is very helpful when I ask him some information. The place is kept clean and tidy too. It's my first night in Spain, so I'm pretty happy for its value for how it's been kept. But service is really good as I said cause he's very helpful.

Friendly helpful staff. Nice little kitchen. Clean shower room. Clean hostel. Great location in Madrid too, very close to Plaza del Sol.

This is one of the best hostels I have ever been to. Staff is very friendly and always smiling - I love how they help you even tho they don’t speak English very well. Rooms are quite small but comfy and very clean. Every room is equipped with free lockers that can fit a small suitcase or an entire rucksack. There is also a bathroom with a toilet in each room - it’s big and very clean. In the kitchen you can find a fridge, a sink, a microwave and a toaster. For an additional fee you can use a coffee machine or a washing machine. Breakfast you get when buying a place in a room is typical - coffee, milk, orange juice, cereal, croissants and some cookies. I loved that hostel and I believe that you will too - I really recommend trying RC Miguel Angelo.

Nice staff and clean rooms. I just wish the breakfast was better and the bathrooms were cleaned more often.

It's not the Ritz or the Carlton but it is exactly what it says. The staff are open and welcoming. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and you get towels and soaps, bonus. Dead centre of Madrid next to Sol plaza. Recommended.

It was cheap, but I've stayed in much nicer hostels for the same price. It's in the center of Madrid, but it's so close to Plaza de Sol that you can hear people yelling and trucks going by all throuth the night. The kitchen is very small and not well equipped. The lockers didn't seem secure at all. It didn't smell very good and didn't seem especially clean, and the decor was a bit weird. There are quite a few elderly people living in the hostel, which was also a bit weird. At one point paramedics came in to help one of them. The owners seemed very nice, but I would not stay there again if I went back to Madrid.

Generally good but needs improvement. Positive: -Value for money -good location -easy to meet other travellers -some staff is kind and helpful Negative: -Not allowed to use ALL facilities before checking in, including washrooms. Not humanistic at all! -very small kitchen with limited facilities -very basic breakfast (but yes, you don’t pay much)
