The receptionist is so rude it's unbelievable . She calls me to re schedule my 20 week scan which I've booked months in advance, saying there is only one slot available today and basically leaves me no option when I tell her its last minute and I cant make it today since I'm sick. She is completely rude and abrupt so my Spanish husband takes the phone and tries to talk to her to find a solution for us to go at any other time in the week, she says no tengo nada , no ,no-all her answers are basically NO, no apologies or anything and then my husband says okay so even for next week don't you have anything available?? she says let me see if i can connect you to a colleague...and then beep beep beep-she hangs up! My husband thought it was a mistake and calls back waits for 12 minutes in the waiting line and then the same woman picks up saying SIII (annoyed voice) ..and the minute she hears his voice she hangs up again!!!!! My husband kept calling back for the next 20 minutes and eventually the line was saying -no functiona!!! APPALLING service as I was warned by many friends before... This is just disgraceful service for a private hospital. Only reason why I went there is because of Dr Anna Suarez and her team. But won't be going back! Sanitas hospitals so much better.. and cleaner!

It was to best decision I could ever make to give a birth there. Since first moment we were fully well assisted, with professional and personal care that we could went through labour with no stress, awaiting every coming step to meet our baby boy. Choosing them went last minute and with SS public hospital there was many administration mess and as I had also pregnancy checking privately with dr Maria de la Cruz Alvarez Gonzalez, on her recommendation also she came assiting my delivery on call. Many thanks especially to her for all attention and care, could not be better and if we go for a second baby I can't imagine have someone else. Also to midwife Lucía, her calm and kindness and the best midwife from birth classes team. Thanks to all medical staff, midwives, nurses and assistants. Recommending in 100%.
Went to urgencias for a scan at 18 weeks because had a sixth sense something was wrong. I was kept waiting for hours which is fair enough as other people had medical emergencies with physical symptoms. However when seen it turned out that there was no heartbeat and after delivering the diagnosis the three medics in the room didn't even wait for me to leave before they started a social conversation about whether they were going to someone's leaving drinks. There was no attempt to check whether I was ok, whether a partner could come and be with me, etc. Zero sympathy. This was my second awful experience there. The first, when I went in for bleeding (early miscarriage at 7 weeks) the doctor wouldn't even believe me that I had been pregnant at all and only when the blood test results came back did he ungraciously acknowledge that I had been right. I cannot comment as to technical excellence (although I have heard bad stories there too) but patient experience leaves a lot to be desired.
Terrible experience here at the Urgencias when i was 20 weeks pregnant and had degenerating fibroid. Lovely but hopeless (medical student?) could not take blood or insert canula and had to do each three times before calling a more senior team, doctor lazy and had sense that she really didnt care, they wouldnt let partner in or tell him what was going on, didnt explain what was going on, couldnt find the myoma that was degenrating, gave me medicine for spasms that i was not having, were rude and took HOURS. Horrific, stressful experience with unprofessional and uncaring staff. Will never, ever return
Grate place for international patience for small , minor medical purposes
