THANK YOU ALL - especially to the doctors and staff at the Emergency Department in Benidorm Levante. I was admitted to the Emergency dept at Levante earlier this week and was taken care of in a professional - caring and efficient manner by all concerned. I was addressed in English as my rudimentary Spanish was insufficient for the medical terms - and everyone made an effort to help me understand what was happening. The (lady) doctor in the emergency department after initial admission made an exceptional effort to explain what was happening and gave me a level of comfort that is hard to describe / a feeling of being in good hands. The cardio department was very clear and explained what they were doing - creating a level of comfort and insight in the process. During the stay in the Hospital in the days after - I can only comment on the caring attitude of the staff - and the expedient service. Thank you - it was highly appreciated and I am deeply grateful for all the care and service provided. Wish you all well.

If you dont have Covid, you will catch it in the emergency room of the IMED hospital in Benidorm. Waiting time is ridiculous long. We had to wait 4 hours in a waiting room with 4 covid patients. All these paitients came in with their own mask I saw one mask that was for sure a month old. A man was brought in with Covid and was placed on a seat in the waiting room. He was in a very bad condition. They attended him very quickly but did not clean the contaiged chair after him. There a no reserved seats in between to avoid people sitting next to you. The handgel is hidden in a corner so people did not use it. It is unacceptable that Covid patients are mixed with other patients waiting. Later we had to go to Radiologia which was a complete chaos too. I am surprised that in Oftomalogia they do follow the Covid process.

they have the best machine, best accomodation service, and here it stops. appointments with doctors change last minute to another doctor which read from a screen what you know already. Blood tests are asked to redo. No further explanation. Very painfull bone marrow biopsy, also asked to redo. All this in 1 case. This is a 100% private hospital that runs as a company and needs to make profit. Money is thus the first concern, not healthcare. Avoid this hospital.

My father is admitted here currently and they could not make his experience worse if they tried, ignorant and unfriendly staff combined with inedible food have left him demoralised and in a worse condition then when he arrived and judging by the rest of the reviews here it is not a one off

Saved my life breathing difficulties but Were only interested in the money And my credit card Thank God for the NHS in Scotland could not speak British only interested in money but the nurses in icu were brilliant apart from the fact they didn't understand a word I was saying. I feel like I should have been in a position to answer there questions which I couldn't understand at all I was confused and concerned about my treatment. I paid 4.500 at the time I was there and when I came home I was asked for a further 850 or I would be taking to court and legal action taken against me Ridiculous. I eventually made an agreement to get them off my back okay they did save my life but it was all about money. Eventually signed myself out because I could no longer afford the bills Had to pay for a fit to fly certificate and pay for my own flight home 2 days later still felt I'll but just wanted home no help imed hospital at all just let me go. Cost me in total nearly 6.500 pounds for A seven night stay in benidorm holiday was 750..disgrace when I eventually arrived home I received a breakdown of my treatment through the post in Spanish. Took this to my own gp who had it translated to English disgracefully charges right down to a single cotton bud.I would like to ask the question if someone from Spain came to our country and was treated like this there would be an outcry I'm saddened by this and it's funny that we were just about to leave the European union at the time I'm lost for words the only saving grace was that they did save my life whoever's my insurance company did not help matters at all they abandoned me Ive said enough.
