Cloudtouch Paragliding

This flying holiday i wont forget in a very long time.. These guys are just the best!. Great hospitality always about when needed no fuss, great place to stay in the town and all excellent flyers and will defiantly help you increase your skill weather it be in flying, ground handling, knowledge of the area and much much more! Honestly i couldn't ask for anymore. well chuffed thanks guys will be booking next year for sure!

High Sierras Paragliding. I throughly recommend High Sierras Paragliding. Chris and Lynn made me feel extremely welcome from the moment I met them. Having not flown for a long time, Chris was at my side to offer advice, support and encouragement before and after flight. His knowledge of the area, flying sites and piloting skills are amazing. I flew four different sites with stunning views, flying with the vultures is a very memorable experience. Everyone I met, local pilots and non flyers were lovely and very welcoming. The accommodation is extremely clean, comfortable and in an ideal location. Many thanks to all for a super week. Not forgetting Biffo..... a scratch behind the ears from me. Look forward to seeing you next year.

I felt masterly prepared before I arrived thanks to Chris' proactive approach. I had a wonderful experience which will set me on my way to become a good flyer I hope. I will revisit for sure. In fact I stayed an extra 5 days. You will be put into a cottage in town. It is non fussy clean and comfortable. If you require anything then ask for it and it will be delivered to you. The village has all you need and the surrounding areas are beautiful and culturally astonishing. I have seen Chris and his colleague Ray interact with beginner, cp, intermediate and experienced pilot level Paragliders. They're approach is to the level of the individual and absolutely spot on. If you can fly on a day outside the zones he caters for he will break a leg to get you in the air. If you lack confidence in your abilities. This is the place for you everyone left more confident more knowledgeable and better pilots. Having had experiences with other guides and instructors I could not recommend these guys more. Save yourself the bother.

High Sierras paragliding is a top notch operation. I couldn't recomend them enough. My brother and I flew to Spain on a whim and called Chris last minute and he fit us into his schedule with no problems. He provided guiding service, along with Ray Wooding, for the next 5 days. We flew everyday and had some really nice XC flights. Chris communicated brilliantly and was super generous and sincere with his guidance and advice. They manage groups really well and do there best to help everybody achieve their goals. As a new xc pilot, the service these guys provided was perfect. Using their expertise of the area and knowledge of local weather, they help you set goals for the day and brief you in the morning using interactive maps on a big TV about how best to reach goal. Its super helpful talking about it, seeing it, and seeing past flight paths and that sort of thing. Above all, it's all about enjoying yourself and landing safely, which was never lost in my time there, and for that I am the most appreciative. They provided really nice accommodation in downtown Algodonales and take care of all transportation while you are there, so a car really isn't necessary. Thanks Chris, Ray, and Lyn!

I cannot recommend High Sierras highly enough. Chris and the team make you feel extremely welcome from the moment you arrive and really look after you all the way through your stay. I went for the “development” week and found that my stay was completely tailored to my needs and capabilities and in just one week I came back feeling hugely improved as a pilot. Chris strikes a great balance between stretching you though the encouragement of tasks but at the same time equips you to achieve them through a mixture of education, coaching and support. I give 5 stars as everything was spot on from accommodation to flying site selection, support & development, education days when weather wasn’t flyable (only one day in a full week) and great team members supporting what was for me an amazing flying week and one I intend to repeat again as soon as I can. I recently spent a week flying with Chris, also supported by his wife Lynn and colleague Ray. Having not flown for many months, it was reassuring to know Chris was there to help guide and advise me, especially when flying from new sites. Their set up is perfect for pilots of all standards, and there was a mixed level of experience during the week I stayed with Chris. The accommodation on offer is available in two nearby locations (Algodonales & La Muela) and pick up from each location is provided by Chris. Even though the weather was faultless during my stay, Chris goes above and beyond to get you flying, often twice a day. The goal for myself was to improve on XC flying, which I had only a limited amount of experience. I soon felt the skills I'd learned previously and High Sierra's professional coaching coming together. This culminated in achieving a XC flight of 37 km, which far surpassed my previous best. This was soon followed by another XC flight over 50 km. I would thoroughly recommend flying with High Sierra's paragliding development school in Algodonales and look forward to booking my next holiday adventure with them again. Thanks Chris & Lynn!
