How long do you think would it take for a non-EU client to find a dream holiday home and seal a good deal? It took me one month and two trips to pick a property to my liking, process all required papers, such as NIE, open a local bank account, set up an appointment with a notary to sign the purchase, set up accounts with utility companies and even furnish the place! This is not about the speed of my decision making. Rather this was only possible thanks to efficiency and utmost professionalism of the real estate agent, I was lucky to work with. Habitatges Maresme in the face of its owner Jordi Bruguera, was exceptional in introducing me to the local community (I avoided picking a resort place on purpose) and habitation ecosystem and maximizing my time during both trips. This young but agile company has all necessary capabilities to work not only with local clients, but also with international customers for whom the purchasing path is much more complicated. Jordi and his team, Antoni and Dolors, made it happen in the shortest window of time I was in Spain. Extremely customer intimate, transparent and well-skilled, they are all a pleasure to work with, always responsive to your housekeeping needs even post-purchase. When it comes to trusting people, I only ask one simple question – if I would ever do business with this person. With Habitatges Maresme, the answer is always “YES”.
