I think it is not so well organised even if at least I got all.. Today it is Sunday and there is not time schedules in the box office, and the office is closed on Sunday for the indications of outside but finally at 7pm they opened and gave me my ticket and told me how does it works.. I am really happy now. After the travel I got bites from insect that live in the dirty place in the seat I booked and that it is not good, so I downgrade from 3 stars to one. Clean the seats and use Alchool or what it needs to kiss parasite that bites people. All my body was full of bites and no one repay me for that. I paied for a clean seat and safe, not for to be \eated\ like that.

Spend your money on this ferry or hitch a ride with a containership, your experience will likely be fairly similar. Almost everything on the boat is closed down, pool, icecream bar, disco, nightclub, game room even the slot machines. Though cleaning staff is in theory available you still need to clean the toilet of your cabin yourself on arrival. As a point to point transport it will take you from A to B but the experience is nothing worth paying for...

The ferry which I travelled was pretty old (22 years old), they really need to concentrate on the maintenance of the ship, not just the exterior painting. They have good number of crew members onboard but concentrating on things which are not important. Travel experience - 5/5 Ship cleanliness - 2/5 (cabins were good) Staff behavior - 2/5 (I travelled from Barcelona to Genoa on GNV, i found only one staff helpful) they made only very few announcements in English.

Reading some other (actually racists) reviews it looked like an horrific experience... It's not. The ferry is just a normal ferry. Not fancy: it's true that they should definitely take care more of it and put more staff cleaning (first of all cleaning toilets), but, at the end of the day, it's just an average ferry. Toilets are dirty, the ship is understaffed and staff is badly organized (they were cleaning mirrors instead of floor and toilets!) I was on a chair and I didn't get any meal, so I can't talk about that. The environment is cool because you can meat heaps of Moroccan people coming back from Morocco and a lot of European travelers coming back from Africa or from Spain. As on every ferry, just carry food and water, otherwise don't be surprised if prices are high and quality is low.

GNV boats are a lot like Vegas, they probably used to be great but the golden age has long gone. We're taking the ferry from Tangier Med to Genova, the ferry is called \Excellent\ which is as far from reality as (sadly) flying pigs. The cabin we booked looks absolutely nothing like the pictures on the website - which of course we are all used to from booking hotels, but GNV has taken it to a whole new level of deceivement. I'm guessing the pictures they used are from a hotel room, or from a boat that was built (unlike this pile of excellent) after the 1970's... there was blood in the shower and long dark hairs distributed all over our cabin. The \doggy-deck\ is not a special arranged area for dogs but rather a certain part of the deck that dogs are allowed to pee on/as do all the men who haven't booked a cabin and can't be bothered to pee in a toilet. The estaurant\ apparently has a long list of rules that the somewhat grumpy/aggressive \waiters\ abide to. Our favorite being that a groupe of two have to sit at a table for two, although the entire place is empty. I waited 20min to buy coffee this morning, and was then informed that the cashier machine was broken. But at least we have a pool! Which is of course covered with a safety net because it's out of commission. Honestly the only good thing about this ship is the coffee, but seeing that it's a italien vessel, that shouldn't be surprising.
