It’s the jewel of Spain and a must to visit. It’s a very beautiful palace. It was a reminder to me of palaces/houses of various kingdoms in my hometown in (south) Azerbaijan. And don’t forget to book your ticket in advance (at least this was the case before the corona time)!

Beautiful place. Great Muslim and Renaissance architecture, stunning mosaics and lovely gardens. The Alhambra Castle also has beautiful locations. You can see snowy Sierra Nevada in background

Gorgeous place. There are not enough words to describe it. Amazing landscapes and architecture. Friendly and helpful staff. Organized visits to the main palaces. Easy to get there by bus. Available WC and snacks.

Very big and with an amazing architecture. You could totally spend a full day there. The first palace is the best in my opinion, the second and third was alright too. Garden are also beautiful and taken care of. A down side for me was the security, had to take the passport and ticket out for checking at every 15 min. Also the staff doesn’t speak English and can be an issue if there is an issue because you can’t communicate with them. Overall a lovely place to visit full of history. Adult ticket is 14

I loved the small, quaint town of Granada. And the palace is a bit of a masterpiece in my opinion. A rockhound and amateur geologist myself, I was not expecting to see a palace and grounds built so artistically from only the various local rocks and stone at their disposal. Actually if you are paying attention, the whole country of Spain is a study of stone architecture. But this palace is very unique. If you are a fan of stone inlay walkways, then you will find miles of it here.
