Janina and Toti are great hosts. They both speak very good English and are really friendly. I based myself at their hostel for three nights during a motorcycle trip so that I could explore the mountain roads in the area. They both have expert knowledge of the local area and as a result of their guidance I had an amazing time exploring the area. One of the best reasons to stay here has to be Janina’s cooking, which I can only describe as excellent. I had breakfast and an evening meal each of the days I stayed there. The building is centuries old and full of character, I loved the ‘rustic’ feel and whilst the accommodation is basic, it is well equipped and Janina keeps it beautifully clean. I will definitely visit again, for the landscape, weather, hospitality and great home cooked food. Thank you Janina and Toti.

Great place to stay or eat. The host, Janina, made me feel at home from the beginning. Good quality home-made food at affordable prices. Many hiking options starting from the refuge.

Character, on a twisting, winding road, this fantastic venue was everything a tired traveller wanted. Coffee served with a smile, a decor to admire, photos telling a story of camaraderie and joy. What a great little place.

Great place, best spot for climbers in Catalonia, the owners are a legend in the climb community, charmant mountain lodge on a hill close to Gombren Village, foods are local, kitchen is commanded by Janina who cook with love the best soups I've tasted in Europe, just what you need after a day on row ;)

Stayed here for one night while doing the Ruta de l'Ermita hike. Friendly lady runs the place and does the cooking (which was indeed very good). Can absolutely recommend for hikers or other groups. When we stayed there, we were the only guest so we got a room for ourselves.
