Galician restaurant with Mexican influences as well, situated in a hidden square, a few steps away from the Girona cathedral. The terrace is very pleasant to sit in the summer, very spacious and comfortable. There big variety of choices for eating, meat dishes, seafood, fish and also crepes for breakfast and brunch. We tried the mussels and other seafood and delicious octopus with mashed potatoes. The prices were affordable and the service from the owner friendly and helpful.

Great service, awesome presentation and the best sangria we had during our stay! Not the cheapest, but you can afford to go back. They play rock music, at a good volume. Order the sausages! **spoiler** one comes hung on a stand, the other comes on a skewer which is set ablaze and you actually cook them right there on the table!

This is my fifth visit to Girona in the past two years and it is always accompanied by a number of visits to Xantar bar/restaurant while I’m here. The owners and staff are amazing. As is the food and fantastic selection of spirits and wines. I recommend this place as one of the best establishments in central Girona. Thank you to Fran and Natalia for their ongoing hospitality. See you again soon.

A Great Galician restaurant, the dishes may be on the heavy side but they are totally worth it. If possible ask for an outside table.
