Excellent, periodic art exhibitions, sponsored by the Mapfre Foundation and housed in a beautiful Modernista building, work of the architect Enric Sagnier, at the end of 19th century. Apart from the art, one can admire the grand marble staircase in the interior, the stained glass windows and the four sculptured columns supporting the balcony, representing the four stages of human life, a work of Eusebi Arnau.

The exhibitions they host are amazing, I’ve been to three different ones and it was always super interesting. I love that they have information in English, not only in Spanish and Catalan. I found that many museums in Bcn only have it in Spanish/Catalan

Nice building where you can observe the modernist Catalan vibes. I was there to see the exhibition about Picasso-Picabia and it was beautiful!

The building per se is amazing but the expositions they usually host are fascinating. I've discovered some amazing artist thanks to their expositions.

Good exhibition space from charitable arm of Mapfre insurance housed in beautiful building, Casa Garriga Nouges. It has paper and photographic work focusing on catalan artists and photographers. Collections from Romanesque, Gothic & modernist periods.

Very affordable expositions, especially if you're a student or teacher. I paid 2 euros to see some pretty incredible photography. Lovely building as well and a nice museum gift shop. They have free lockers where you can leave your bags.
