I recommend you make some time to visit the Museum of Natural History of the Galician Society of Natural History at Ferrol. That's really worth it. Even though it is small it is very complete and the attention of its staff is the kindest and most careful that I have ever seen. It has one of the most important fossil Cetaceans of the world Collections. The best of Ferrol.

Nice little local natural history museum managed by the Sociedade Galega de Historia Natural with a couple of astonishing pieces in the collection, like a giant squid and a whale skeleton.

There's not much to see in Ferrol, but this place is great. Very helpful staff and interesting exhibits. And it's free.

How can x men be more interesting than learning about whales dying with big balls of plastic in their stomachs.

Came across this by accident and was so glad to go in. Got really up close to the exhibits and would recommend it to everyone who travels to El Ferrol
