Theft is a problem in properties managed by this agency. Regrettably tourist short-stay accommodation is a target in San Sebastián - thieves know the apartment addresses, know how to access the buildings, and know how to get in through doors and windows. This agency manages the problem poorly: entrance doors aren’t secure; they don’t provide keys to the deadlock; they aren’t adequately insured for events of theft from guests; there is no video surveillance of the property they manage; and they don’t respond to their ‘emergency number’ when a theft occurs at a property they manage. This was our experience, and the management’s response was poor. This is obviously a problem for guests, but it is also a problem for the owners that entrust their properties to FeelFree’s management, and for the neighbours that share a building with a FeelFree-managed property. To cut a long story short - thieves target FeelFree properties because FeelFree guests are wealthy, and because FeelFree properties are poorly-managed against the (high) risk of theft in San Sebastián. Beware guests, beware buildings’ neighbours (who permit owners to offer their property for short stay rentals - there was an attempted break-in at the neighbour’s apartment when our FeelFree apartment was hit) and beware owners thinking of letting their short stay property through this agency.
Customer service is second to none. During our stay, staff been very helpful in every way. Outside the apartment there is a huge construction which had forced the water supply to stop but the staff been helpful to find out the schedule, and at the end even offered some compensation even though it's not their fault for the water ban. Highly recommended, you can tell the company looks after their staff and their staffs look after the customers. Special thanks to Aida.
Cute apartment in great location. But for the price it's just ok. Internet is the worst we've experienced in Europe - had to use cell phone service because I needed to send out email. Separate location for check-in with specified hours, no outlet converters, only shampoo provided. Just little things could have made it better. Larger apartments could be great for a family or extended stay but if a hotel is not much more that's better without the inconveniences.
