Normally the services in the embassy are good. But today was a very disappointing experience with the embassy. I have a scheduled appointment today, where i even had to take the day off from work, but they have closed office. The funny thing when i contacted the emergency number, they said that i was supposed to receive email that my appointment has been cancelled (No i did not received any email and it was not only me because i met another pinoy outside who came for his appointment and said he also did not receive any cancellation email). The person i talked to on the emergency phone said that there’s no consular service anymore on fridays since february 1. But i made my appointment from the website on february 10!!! So they are accepting friday appointments two weeks after they have stopped the friday offices. Another thing, i also met just minutes i was trying to figure out why they were not answering the buzzer, that i saw another pinay (coming from the other door of the embassy) saying the office has closed and she was the last person attended to. So they were not really closed then today (19th of february)? Perhaps they only did not want to honor appointments of some people, not considering that those people may have to do special arrnagements to come on their appointment.

People who works there are good..
way better service than in what they do in regular days.. .. fast and efficient as long as the people also comply have considarate in informing of what they should present and bring before going there
I am trying to call with 14 calls within 10 am to 13:00 every 10 minuts, NO way, going straight to the VISAS, later going to the operator. NO way to contact. What kind of service
Went to PE Madrid today to renew my passport. Service was generally good. But I was surprised when they told me that my new passport will be released after 1-2 months! Why? I asked one of the staff why the span of release was sooo long (1-2 months) and I was not satisfied with her answer. I also asked (or on the average) how often they dispatch dox to Pinas? Neither I get the good reply/explanations.....the other staff that I asked seemed didn't know the office procedure or, was he just playing safe??? Five years ago (August 2015) when I had my renewal, the lead time for the processing/releasing of passport was already one month. Since nagbago na ang presidente ng Pinas at nais niya ang pagbabago esp for OFWs - Anyare??? What happened to the directive of the President/DFA to facilitate processing of documents/passport???nothing has changed pa rin ba??? Asan ang pagbabago DFA?
