When I came in to the restaurant, my party and I were promptly greeted by an English speaking waiter. She took down our orders and within ten minutes, our food had arrived. My order of mainted pork with fries was absolutely delicious (pictured below). Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely come back for more.

I am surprised this place has 4 stars. I was excited to try the food finally after their reopening during covid. I ordered the Pancit Canton noodles to go. It didn't look like what the other reviewer recieved. The noodles were overcooked and the sauce was watered down. I wouldn't be surpised if it was frozen and heated up last minute. Was it even made fresh? I don't know but the chicken tasted chewy like it was boiled and the best part of all there was a small piece of THICK HAIR in my food. Disgusting and unsanitary.

Great Filipino food at pocket-friendly prices, served by cheerful people who wear their BIG SMILES on their sleeves. Our little ones loved the pancit bihon and eggrolls! Why Thousand Islands? Did you know that the Philippines has over 7,700 islands and was a colony of Spain for over 350 years? This is likely the only place this side of Cadiz where you can enjoy your Clara con limon with the oh-so-yummy lechon kawali (the Filipino version of chicharon)! Accessibility: About 14 kilometers (20 minutes) drive from Plaza San Miguel, Jerez de la Frontera. Plenty of parking in front, as it is located at a commercial center (Bahia Mar). Train Station is a bit of a walk. Suitability (for family with children): Spacious dining arrangement in/outside, located in a mall with movie theaters and several areas for children to play, enabling us to stay here for at least 2 hours. Services/bathroom: yes; may not be wheelchair accessible. Shade: indoor and shaded patio. Stroller/wheelchair accessibility: Wide enough for both wheelchair and our Uppababy. Need to check ramp. Foreign-friendliness: Spanish, Tagalog, English-speaking with a smile. Food: Great, affordable, authentically ethnic food. About 5 euros (on average) for a satisfactory portion and 1.50 for drinks. Watch out for lechon kawali! Timeframe of visit(s): Sunday in September. Note: We (free electrons family) review places from a foreign-family perspective, generally. We have small children and our ability to communicate in the local language (Spanish) is limited.

Definitely not authentic filipino food. The menu also did not have a lot of filipino dishes options.
