We had a magical stay at El Molino with Lola and Carlos and their sons. When we arrived we felt as if we were in paradise. The weather was glorious, and the terrace and covered eating area outside were charming and comfortable. The food was fabulous. Just a few of Lola's specialties: bull's tail was tender and flavorful with a hint of rosemary, pisto: magnificent, several fish dishes, roasted lamb and chicken were all to die for. Desserts were all spectacularly homemade and the bread local and just baked. Our host and hostess were cheerful, charming and ready to provide whatever we wished. And our room was the ultimate in charming, very clean, with linens that smelled as if they had been dried in the Spanish sun with hints of the scent of the flowers that grow in abundance on the property. Our every need and wish were taken care of. We only wish we could have stayed longer. For a magical and authentic Spanish experience, El Molino is wonderful.

We arrived here late at night after a long journey, with a babe in arms, and I could have cried with relief and joy at how lovely our hosts were. It was about 10pm and they hadn't been expecting us but rustled up an amazing 5 course meal including gorgeous Spanish soup and croquetas. I had quite a few glasses of the delicious white wine on offer and my partner was served beer in glasses that had come out of the freezer. We had no idea how much all this was going to cost is and were very pleasantly surprised when it came to the bill. Our room was spacious and although a travel cot was offered we all ended up sleeping together in the huge bed. Probably not one for the ardent animal lovers amongst us as the décor is strictly dead animal in the main downstairs room. There are lots of beautiful display cases of tea cups and old artifacts as well. Would absolutely recommend.
