must go to restaurant. prepare for a wait if you go during peak hours. easy to understand menu especially with the recommended items. we went with the hake fish paste, complete mini, a side of octopus, and the steak. i appreciates the waiter letting us know we have enough food for the sake of wasting. the fish cake was the most interesting based on texture and color. it was best with the baguette that came with the meal. the sangria is good here as well. beware of sitting on terrace, somewhere on the bottom of the menu says there’s an extra charge. but please do double check and confirm this.

It’s a popular restaurant so I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a wait. The sangria was delicious-a bit on the sweeter side. Everything we got was delicious and the waiter was very kind to let us know when to stop ordering because we would have kept going.
If you are looking for a typical basque pintxo (\tapas\) bar, don't miss it. Very traditional in design and food though whether old or boring. It is situated in the hippest street of this vogue part of San Sebastián. Easy to meet nice Basques there...
Tried their (warm) grilled octopus and (cold) pig snout salad dish (yes it sounds crazy). Both were delicious, in fact the pig snout was the standout. Presentation wise it was thin slices, like ham, with a slightly more jelly texture. If you’re adventurous, would highly recommend. Careful, there is more than one restaurant with this name.
Nice place with good service. They have great pintxos and authentic atmosphere. The only downside is that it is becoming way too popular and busy at times. Sometimes it felt like we are not customers but just another one paying the bill
