Nothing like it in America. This shop has every brand that you know or will be glad to know.

Well stocked, but while in the shop I was listening to music from the main speakers and also music blaring from the phone of one of the employes. I knew what I wanted to buy, so could get in and out quickly, but for anybody spending a bit of time in the shop this could be a deal breaker. Customer is King, still valid in 2019.

Went in to buy a Miguel Nieto \Linea Gaucho\ carving set(the wooden handle set), the price says 61.95, the young unscrupulous salesperson shamelessly tried to rip us off by saying that it was the price for the knife only and that the whole set was 110. The same set costs about 60 at another shop.

I bought my first knife here over 20 years ago when this area had personality and an array of businesses which defined the centre of Barcelona. I haven't been here for many years and this is one of the few shops that are left from the old days. It's changed slightly inside but otherwise it remains the same. For any kind of knife this is the place, with all the classic brands. With replica swords and guns and cookware and associated bits and pieces. It's a little bit of the old Barcelona that's left on amongst the impersonal multinational dominated shopping centre that the city has become. I intend to go and make a purchase there from time to time even though I don't have to. It'll be very sad when it goes.
