They don't respond to any emails. The Embassy in Madrid tells me to contact them however none of them gets back to me about securing an appointment. And this is to comply with the stupid rules and regulations of this dead country. The useless, highly-corrupt Portuguese Governments want you to spend your time contacting these places for reporting your residency in another country because their Customs/Boarder Patrol (known as SEF) fails to be at airports to check people in and/or out. It has only been two months since my first contact. Most likely, they will be trying to penalise me for their incompetence when it is the end of the financial year alleging, like they did in the past, that I am a resident of Portugal. One thing is for sure, I am not and will never be a resident of a country that disgusts me by its levels of corruption.
