Clau Mestra is hands-down the best locksmith in the entire region. Jose (owner) is who law enforcement goes to when they need a complex job done (true story, I was in the store looking at doors when a call came in). These guys are SERIOUSLY LEGIT and if I could give them six stars, I would. I wanted to get a medium-security door for my apartment to replace the really cheap original door after all these years, and kept being disappointed with showrooms where salespeople were showing expensive standard pre-fab 'secure' doors with cheap cylinders, and knowing less about the locks than I did (I'm an amateur lock enthusiast). I searched as far up as Valencia, and was surprised to find Clau Mestra locally after searching for a licensed AssaAbloy locksmith (a high-end lock company). I wanted a special cylinder and Jose wouldn't install it until he personally tested it - he literally called in the company rep for a sample and together they melted a bit trying to drill it. For free. Just because Jose had to be sure. Who does that?? The guy is just passionate about what he does. Surprisingly, Jose is also priced very competitively, in spite of this level of service. The door I got works perfectly and my neighbor got one, too, and also loves it. These guys are just top-notch.
