Cellar Tours was amazing. I sent them an inquiry regarding how I wanted to celebrate my 40th birthday party and they planned everything and everything was perfect! To the hotels they choose, to the wineries and to the restaurants, to arranging transportation. We did not have a bad day at all. In fact, this was a surprise for my girlfriend as well and when she found out that I was using Cellar Tours, she too contacted them without me knowing and they were accommodating 100%. Best of all, plans change or things change and in the middle of the trip when we wanted to make a few changes to the itinerary, they were professional and accommodating. If you want to book a 5-star tour where you want to get into the best restaurants and wineries in Porto and Duoro valley, then use Cellar Tours! They create once in a life time tours and my girlfriend and I are into wine. We cannot wait to use them again as we fully trust them, as should you! Thank you!

I tried to organize a customized tour of wine estates on the Douro River in Portugal. I posted a query online stating exactly what I wanted. I was assured by Ms. Abreu that "We do organize this type of tours," and asked for more information. After I provided all the information requested (which was time consuming), I was then told that they do not do the type of tour I wanted. They wasted my time for nothing. Follow-up -- I raised my rating to 3. Finally I did receive a proposal for a good customized tour. It was expensive and I did not agree to it, but it was good.

This was our first time to Tuscany and our first visit to any Italian wine region. (We have visited all the wine regions in France over the years.) The scenery, food, wine and towns that we visited and explored, were all amazing. Cellar Tours put together a variety of wineries that ranged from large to small production, biodynamic and organic to mass production, and selected restaurants and menus at the winery that not only went well with the local fines wines, but accommodated any dietary limitations. We enjoyed the diversity of the wineries, the restaurants and menus. We were thoroughly impressed by the skill of the chefs. We learned a tremendous amount about the history of Italy and this area specifically. Living in a country that only goes back a few hundred years, we don’t often think about how important the past was, and how influential Italy’s history was on the rest of the world. It was truly an educational trip from that perspective. We met some wonderful people who led us through the winery tours, wine tastings, meals at the restaurants and, for sure, we could not have asked for a better driver than Souro. Not only an excellent driver, navigating the hilly, winding roads of Tuscany (we now know whey Italians make such great Formula 1 drivers!), but he was quite knowledgeable about all of the towns we visited, guided us to what we would be seeing, told us what not to miss, and even took us to some other little towns on the way to the scheduled ones. He was polite, punctual and we had a wonderful time with him. All in all, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend a private, customized tour with Cellar Tours. Just don't try and put too many wineries in one day!!

Simone,I wanted to thank you and Cellar Tours for an incredible trip!!! This was the perfect way to be introduced to Tuscany, the culture, the people, the art, food and wine. The company’s attention to detail, selection of hotels, wineries, restaurants, tour guides was la maggior parte eccellente! Thanks for making sure we got to the right restaurant during our second night when communication was a little bumpy with the staff. We thoroughly enjoyed everyone we met on this trip… they were personable and open and hospitable. I had some of the best conversations during this trip, giving me a great perspective of life in Tuscany….. and a desire to return and immerse myself in the culture in the future. I would take another trip organized by your company in a heart beat and have highly recommended your services to my friends.
