They have currently a nice exposition about mars. The environment feels extremely safe against covid.

Boxcar Children

Cheap and cheerful. 3 euros for adults. 1.5 for kids. The poison exhibition is cool : 20 minutes The virtual reality farm is cool: 5 minutes The toilets are clean 2-5 minutes. Café is more of a picnic area with a vending machine 5-10m At a push an hour, a pleasant hour at that. Planetarium only open on Sunday and Tuesday: it was closed on our visit. Polar section ?? We did not see it, maybe it's open on a random day.

To be honest given how impressive the building is from the outside there isn’t really that much to see on the inside. On the plus side we saw a ‘sky at night’ show there which was interesting and well presented by our guide.

Small science museum housed in the Peruvian building from the exposition iberoamericana. There seemed to be three permanent bits on cetaceans, geology and planets. In addition two temporary exhibitions on women in astronomy and Tutankhamen's tomb. Very little interactive material, but a good place to visit with small kids because it's not too overwhelming. Explanations in Spanish and English. Overall it was worth the 3 euro entry ticket...but not much more.
