I can't imagine they get many British visitors here in Boñar, so hopefully this review will help any fellow Brits who are thinking of staying. We used this campsite as a base whilst we were climbing on the crags nearby. It was clearly the end of their busy season, so it was a bit of a ghost town and this huge campsite was nearly empty. The receptionist was friendly, but spoke no English. Not a problem for us, but could be an issue for those who don't speak much Spanish. We were sure we'd misunderstood when she told us it was 11 a night for 4 of us and our 4 tents but it turned out it really was that cheap! Facilities were good, the drinking water taps dotted around the campsite did run with hot water, which was concerning but for the price we couldn't complain. Plenty of Cafe's, Restaurants and Bars within walking distance. Note: There is a training camp for the Army close by. They were all very friendly, but we they do chant and march until about 22:30 and we were woken at 05:00 by it also!

Nice site, location, reasonably priced and friendly staff. Well worth staying at.
