I am currently at the school since November 2020 and I am happy with it. The pace is very high because we fly and study the ATPL in the same time which gives you extra motivation to study. (Every 2 months 3-4 ATPL subjects and up to 20 - 25 flights per month) Flight and ground instructors are always here to help and they have different backgrounds. Aircrafts are nice to fly and I enjoyed every flights so far. Mechanics are here to help in case of problem. In general accommodation are very good, separate room with 1 bathroom for each room. The food at some residence could be improved but if you don't like it you have the option to get your own kitchen. Shuttle are organised to bring you at the airport but it can be more convenient to buy a car from previous student or an electric scooter to go and move within the city. The school and the management team are also resilient because they successfully answer to the covid crisis. Student are from everywhere (Europe, Middle-east, Asia). An advantage of the school is also the proximity of more than 10 airports with different specifications which gives you everything you need to become a good pilot. Finally, I would say this is a good school which gives you everything you need if you are highly motivated, the price is highly competitive, facilities are good and we can get our license in only 14 months compare to 20 months average for other schools.

Being in the school for 1 year and arriving at the end of training, I am satisfied with this school. Usually the main problem in a flight school is the weekly flight frequency which is low, at Flyby Aviation Academy you will be tired of flying so much. I am based in Burgos, the residences are really good and a good distance from everything. To end with my opinion, I saw that there is a person who has fun copying and pasting a negative post on Flyby, probably a frustrated one. The things that he said there are false, with the exception of the Emilio Hurtado residence in Leon which was indeed quite noisy because the apartments were shared, problem solved since each person lives in a single apartment in Burgos.

Im about to finish my training here and from the beggining the school has been improving in its shortcommings at a visible eye rate. Great management, props to customer service that sometimes have to work 24/7 and a really new and modern aircraft fleet to start your aviation together with awesome people to fly with.

Forget about this flight school Flybyschool, they only want your MONEY. I did the ATPL at Flybyscholl (Flybai ATO E166 ex Bilbao) and I could say its one of the worst flights school in Spain. All the reviews are fake!! The course its carried out at Burgos, not in Leon, as they show in their webpage, because the dont have the authorization from spanish authorities for flying at Leon airport, they dontt want to pay the airport FEES (1 million euros anual), thats why first they were at Bilbao, then Los Oteros - Leon, and now Burgos, and in a couple of month who knows where they will be at. The course cant be finished in 14 months, so you will have to pay more and more euros, thats why the low PRICE its a real HOOK/BAIT.The "madrileño" Alex Alvarez its an scammer and sociopath person, the best thing he does its to lie, and he does it well. The teachers are a disaster, they have no real experience on airlines and many never flew; they are from Venezuela, China, Oman, Arabia and others countrys out of Spain. The first thing that they give you are all the anwers for the exams!! They got many Light Sport Aircraft because their price its half the cost of Piper or Cessna, fake schools got this LSA to reduce operational costs, but not your fee: with two students fee they buy one aircraft.The food its horrible (you will have to buy your own), and the residence Emilio Hurtado (and hotel Las Vegas Burgos) has to much noise 24hr, bad bed and many problems with the infrastructure, thats why its cheap. 99% of the students are from Oman, Iran and Arabia, they dont know spanish, so they can be cheated easily. And many more things that they hide and you discover them late.....DONT SAY I DIDNT TELL YOU...good luck. Review Opinion Flybyschool.
