The best way to discover the island!!! The experience of riding a VESPA over any other cheaper scooter to discover the city and Tramuntana mountains is unique. We fully enjoyed the whole process of renting a Vespa with the guys at Bullimoto. Booking through their website was easy and fast, the pickup was also súper easy and we got too a bunch of tips of amazing spots around the island. Totally worth it. We will be back next year for sure......... The only but is that now I am considering buying a Vespa
They took our deposits to pay for their own failures. Bullimoto agreed with us on the day of our rental that we could park our scooters at our cruise ship at the end of our rental, and they would pick them up there. They acknowledge this. We parked them as agreed at 2:15 p.m., and even videoed the scooters to show they were in perfect condition. Bullimoto did not go get them and they sat parked there overnight and into the next day, when the local police impounded them for being parked overnight. Bullimoto never told us they weren't going to pick up the scooters right away when we agreed with them that, for a 12 euro fee per scooter, we could park at the port. If we had known they would leave them there, and that they would charge us for anything that happened during the period when they left them, on into the future (who knows how long they were going to leave them!), we would never have paid 12 euros per scooter to park them and use their \convenient off-site drop off/collection service.\ Their own failure has cost us almost 800 -- they took our full security deposits for their troubles of getting the scooters back. They were unwilling to split the difference or refund us any part of it for their own failures. I would never rent from them again, but if you do, here's a warning: do not use their obviously deficient remote pickup service. And be ready for them to take your full security deposits in summary and unjustified fashion. We could have bought used Vespas and deposited them in the sea for what this few hours of scooter rental cost us. Not to mention all the angst and energy spent disputing this through our card company. Ugh.
Super nice staff and great service! Marta is very helping and super sweet. She gave us great advices what to visit and she was super quick in replying. And the Vespas are of course great bikes. In my opinion it’s the best way to discover the island. Best decision to rent bikes from Bullimoto. Thanks again!
