BrainAlly aims to improve patient care efficacy, cost efficiency and expand the access to cognitive assistance worldwide for families of children with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum, attention deficits, fetal alcohol spectrum, extreme preterm birth and intellectual disability in general. Around 200 million children are affected by developmental disabilities worldwide. Social expenditure for improving their capacities is huge, despite the long-term impact of treatments for this aim remains unclear. Access to cognitive assistance for 80% of the world population is almost null. BrainAlly, founded in 2018 in Barcelona (Spain), digitalizes and personalizes cognitive assistance for delivering therapeutic guidance to these families in an effective, innovative, convenient (portable) and affordable manner. BrainAlly is a digital healthcare platform for household use based on big data, artificial intelligence and digital applications. We aim to identify and recommend to families "the best"​ cognitive enhancing treatment for each child across development (6 to 14 years of age) using big data from real-world evidence studies (RWEs). With our digital applications we regularly assess and remotely monitor in each child cognitive performance, everyday living skills and the treatments they follow (pharmacological and non-pharmacological) to identify their impact in these outcomes and their beneficial synergies in combined interventions. This feedback is sent to the parent's smartphone. We are developing our first prototype (MVP) and proof of concept of its efficacy for families, health providers and pharma industry for improving patient care, clinical trials efficiency and patient engagement.
