The food is plentiful and very good. The black beans are fantastic. The prices are right if you're on a budget. The service is super friendly as are the locals that eat there. Recommended.

Good food, good value, good service. The steak with rice and beans was amazing. Lovely cosy Portuguese pocket in Barceloneta. Second visit and will definitely be back.

I've walked past so many times, tonight I finally went in, and I'm so glad. Steak, rice, salad, and beer for under 20. The food was great, and the atmosphere was so comfortable, like sitting in someone's kitchen.

My husband and I have decided to eat at Bistro 42 after a friend’s recommendation, so maybe my expectations were high. The food took a long time to arrive, and it wasn’t special. I had tried better picanha, rive and beans and Bacalhau a Braz in town.

Close to barceloneta beach this small bar has some great Brazilian and Portuguese food at a really good price , drinks are good and the staff are warm and friendly, deffently worth a visit to fill up your belly!
