Loads of fun but not recommending for kids as waves are too big and powerful.

A small and cosy beach, sea is very calm compared with the red flag we saw everywhere else. Plenty of families and kids even when they are supposed to be in the school a weekday on october. They have also a showers for body and feets.

It is dangerous. At least in the middle of November. Waves are strong and pushing into the ocean. Rocks can hurt feet. Special shoes recommended

Rocks and black sand, not my favorite

Neptunos used to be the best place for lunch near playa la arena beach. Was closed for local pathway construction, has since reopened and was slightly disappointing. Lunch menu should have more variety, especially pizzas and burgers. Staff nice and speak many languages, Nice cold beer!!

Very clean , not to big all the amenities, brilliant life guards, I would recommend that you hire a sun bed and umbrella 3 each and definitely wear something on your feet as the sand gets absolutely roasting during the day, overall a really nice place to go .

Nice beach, first time on black sand. It's normally calm waters and warm even in December. Lifeguard on duty, red flag up when it's rough, and when it is there are some big waves

A unique little beach with black sand and (during my visit at least) fairly large waves. With plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, and some stunning sunsets, this is a great place to visit.
