I absolutely love this store, especially when this one is so big. You can buy just about anything DIY for your home and garden. Paint, plaster, kitchens, fires power tools, nails, screws, home decor, showers, toilets, lighting etc etc. The list goes on and on. Huge area dedicated to your outside/garden space and at the moment it's the place to buy all your Christmas decorations including your tree and light's. A must visit and there are plenty of discounted items on offer

I will never use Bauhaus for anything ever again. I had intended to buy all the bathroom from them not to mention all the other things I needed to renovate my flat. Over a month ago I paid 30 euros to have a quote for the installation of a shower. I told the gentlemen at the time that I needed the shower urgently and he said that the quote would be a maximum of a few days , A week at the most. The installers came to measure fairly quickly. However I waited and waited and nothing. After 3 weeks went by I called Bauhaus several times to be told that someone would call me back . After yet another week of waiting I received a phone call from Bauhaus saying that my quote was there and that they had had it since the first week!! They said that they could send it to me via email and I queried why they had not done that before instead of making me wait more than one month for it. I did not receive any email. I went into Bauhaus and eventually talked to a manager I believe. He told me that they had called but that no one had answered!! I work from home so that would be impossible. I asked why they had not emailed me. They did not have my email even though I had given it to the gentleman 3 times over. I asked for a refund as I had not received the quote and that I had had to employ someone else for the job. He refused to give me a refund telling me that the quote had been done. At this point I still had not received the quote. I have lost 30 euros but BAUHAUS you have lost many thousands from me...Your service is dreadful.
The lady working on curtains and blinds, Sheila, was really friendly. She helped us find what we were looking for!
Yet another example of nobody knowing what's going on. Went to click and collect to collect a previously ordered item after receiving a phone call to say it's ready. Nobody could find out item so told us it's not here but they have something similar for 50 more. After us insisting they looked properly they found our item.
We could not buy a kayak as there weren't any in stock. Summer is here and this is the season to have an ample supply of kayaks. Disappointing!
