Great cable car trip across Barcelona. PHENOMENAL views all around. Easy to access and board although there likely will be a wait. Tons of places to walk on either end.

Beautiful view of Barcelona. It is however, a pity, that there is no wheelchair access to the cafe/ platform on the top. It should be accesible for everyone to enjoy the beautiful views of this wonderful city. We had to go and come back and wished we could have had access to fully enjoy it too.
A pleasant experience. For 11 per person you could travel the cable car ONE WAY from the port of Barcelona to halfway up the Montjuïc mountain. You can also opt for a return trip which is 15, however I would recommend walking down the mountain as it would enable you to benefit even more from its beauty. This travels over the sea and enables you to see Barcelona from a birds eye view, which is magnificent! When we arrived, we queued for approximately 35 minutes while getting our tickets and waiting for the lift to go up to the cable car area. It is rather hot and there is no shade to protect yourself from, however there is a large fan which tries to cover the queuing area. Upon catching the lift, you can fit approximately 6 people in it to ascend to the tower. When you've arrived, there is vending machines and toilet facilities and of course another queue for you to catch the cable car. This took approximately 25 minutes for us and the cable car is supposed to take a maximum of 20 people. I think we had approximately 15 people in ours and even though you are a little closed in, you can turn around and see the other views. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who is scared of heights or claustrophobic because it can be a little jittery and you are of course in an enclosed area for approximately 7-8 minutes over the sea. However, if you can deal with that for that length of time, it is very worth it.
It is a picturesque location. The cable car offers the opportunity to see the harbour, the sea and part of the city from above. The pillar in the middle is not a station but just a pillar. Very beautiful.
Very good feeling, but you have to waiting a lot. They are very nice because they give an umbrella with UV filter to the waiters and you find there some hunidifying fans. We still wait there 1 hour to get there.
I don't know how much was this short ride worth 1 hour wait in the queues : ticket/elevator/cabin. I guess if you come really early it may be doable but otherwise it is too much of wait. There were desperately missing toilets and seats at the waiting area. You stand outside in the sun. No place to buy water or food or a souvenir. They really need to work on that. We got a one way ticket for 11/person to get uphill and then we spent there some time on a bench in the sun enjoying the lovely views and went by foot to the tapas street Carrer de blai located 30 minutes of walking distance.
Really cool experience while your visit Barcelona. 11 euro per person 1 way. 18 euro round trip. From the funicular top tower in Barceloneta you can see amazing views of Barcelona, port of Barcelona and old port, you can see the la Ramblas street, and Passeig de Gràcia, you can even see the Bunkers el Carmel. Definitely worth a visit
Short ride, not cheap, but a great way to go from the mountain to the beach in minutes. I recommend you start in Montjuïc, walk around, then downhill to the tram and finish on the beach
