The service was good, fast, professional, and efficient. The waiter - a young man from Chile - was very friendly and professional, always aware of the right timings to bring each dish, polite in manners and not excessively forthcoming or feisty, unlike many spanish waiters, who mistake feisty attitude for politeness and professionalism. The restaurant itself is nice, though very dark and with no natural light. Decoration is simple, not very pretentious, seats are comfortable and lighting is cosy and not invasive. They had Covid-19 security measures in place, disinfectant gel at the entrance and in the toilets, waiters wore masks all time and they disinfected tables after being used. I would give 4 stars to this review - I never give 5 as there is no perfect service - if it weren't for the food, which was in very small portions. We asked for the daily menu dish set (\menu del día\, at 12,50 euros, 3 dishes, beverage plus dessert or coffee included) and the portions were very small. The 3 dish set was supposed to be one starter plus 2 subsequent dishes. The whole thing seemed like a 3-starter dish rather than anything else. The portions size was definitely very small and disappointing. There also a couple of dishes you could include in the menu set (Yakisoba, Futomaki, etc) but you had to pay 3 or 4 euros extra per dish, which would easily raise the price o f the meal to 20 or 30 euro, depending on the chosen extras. I was a bit disappointed and felt misled, because they advertise the daily menu option as the best deal for 12,50 euro but in the end it's not so, because of the small amount of food served and the extra you pay if you choose the more substantial dishes, like Yakisoba. Bottom line: good service, ok environment, covid-19 restrictions and safery measures in place, food not up to expectations in terms of quantity, quality was OK.
