I was amazed by the atmosphere of this market. Friendly sellers. Brilliant purity and great choice of everything: fish, meat, fruits and veggies. You also can eat right there. Wonderful check machine so the seller do not touch the money. The nicest market I’ve ever been!

One of my favourite markets in Barcelona that actually works as a market! Local businesses that really fight for the best value while still offering great quality. Most of the workers there are extremely nice and welcoming (most). Recommended to everyone who wants to see how an actual Mediterranean market works and what it should look like. La Boquería is a joke next to Sant Antoni.

Beautiful market renovated and reopened May 2018 We love this market so much, it is clean and very organized, most stores providing number queue system. No traditional market fishy smell, believe also air conditioning, our visit was early January 2019, so cold air no required. They selling fruits, vegetables, dry foods, seafood, there are few place for cooked food, love the Oysters bar, prices are very reasonable, likely major customers are local. Some shop closed early like 14:00, while others open all day. Highly recommended if you interested to give a feel for yourself how the local daily life. Staff are very friendly and communication in English seems are fine here.

It is one of the most beautiful and functional markets in Barcelona. It also helds a sunday tradition (2nd hand Sunday Market) that has run for ages. One of my favourite spots in Barcelona to walk around or go with your pet. It also works as a market with a vast variety of quality products.
