I cannot recommend Hospital Veterinari del Mar enough; especially for an emergency. Though I arrived at the door in the early hours of the morning with very limited Spanish, my dog was immediately looked after & I was updated almost immediately on her condition. Though sadly, in the end, Galise passed away - she was treated so well here & it meant a great deal to witness the attention she & other dogs/cats were given by the entire staff. A really special mention to Alexandria, who was so kind to me despite my lack of Spanish. It was really appreciated during a very difficult time & she made sure I understood everything.

Good COVID measures in place. Excellent vets who really know their stuff, speak English for the newcomers here, and love the pet patients almost as much as you do!
I'm currently doing my final Internship (DVM/MSC) at Hospital Veterinari del Mar and I couldn't be more happy about my decision to do this part of my medical journey with them! Passionate working Vets and Vet Techs that have a marvellous work ethic and knowledge about their job. They are a very committed team that gives all they have to find every solution to see all pets well and happy. I'm very proud and lucky to join them and see them work everyday 24/7 for the last 4 months. I recommend you Hospital Veterinari del Mar 100% !!
If you have an emergency and you are thinking of stepping the door of this veterinary clinic, please don't ! A place where they only think of charging you money before worrying about the life of your puppy, you can see in their eyes 0 empathy. We had an accident that made us go there, and we left with a life lesson of never coming back.. too much bragging about having the nicest materials and the last updated technologies, while the most important factor in their case is humanity before any other thing. You can see clearly when a job is done by passion, or just done out of money interest.. I DO NOT RECOMMEND, as all the other people that have gone through the same thing as me dealing with this veterinary hospital. Don't get confused with their answers to the negative comments, its total manipulation and fake innocence.
My dachshund Salami got into terrible car accident last week. Without any doubt it was the worst time I ever experienced. But thanks to timely and professional help of Hospital Veterinari del Mar's team, my best friend is with us and recovering! He was in critical state and all kind of outcomes were possible. The team not only did excellent emergency help, but they also showed a lot of empathy, understanding and compassion to me as an owner, maintaining me informed at all times. Special big thanks to doctors: Laura di Filippo - who I communicated with during most critical hours, also Gonzalo and Edu, as well as nurse Susanna who received us at night. I do not have names of all doctors who helped us, but all of them showed best qualities - professional, as well as human. Muchas gracias!!!
