I was born in this hospital in 2008. My mom told me that she was attended right away. She always says that of the 5 kids, this hospital gave the best service. If I ever have an emergency in Barcelona, this hospital will always be my first choice.

I was admitted in emergency for an open wound on my shin. All the staff was super friendly, helpful and spoke good English. I was taken very good care of and there was no problem at all even though I am not a Spanish citizen. They turned my unfortunate injury into quite a good experience :)

On day 1 of my 5 day holiday I developed a bad infection. I registered at the reception desk and saw a triage nurse straight away. Within 3 hours I had seen the triage nurse, a doctor and received the treatment I needed. I was put on a strong antibiotic drip which made me feel better almost instantly.I was discharged with a prescription and was able to enjoy the rest of my holiday pain free. I was not sure what to expect as a holiday maker, but everyone made me feel at ease and welcome. Even the staff that didn't speak English did their best to communicate with me. Professional and caring. I owe them a big thank you.

Went to the emergencies after an accident. Having an big open wound in the middle of my forehead. It took 5 hours for the surgeon to come. Never seen anything like that. They said they had too many more important patients. It's not an excuse. Get more doctors. Barcelona is one of the biggest touristic cities in europe. Spain in general had one of the worst medical system in the world. You might end up with a new problem instead of the old one resolved.

This is a message for the politicians, specially those ruling Barcelona and Spain. We need more Drs, more Nurses and more Health professionals. I have gone this morning to the hospital, checked in at 9am with a possible Covid19 infection. They had to do a PCR and XRay... it took 4:45h
