Pricey but worth it. Yummy tiramisu. Good coffee. Friendly service. Decent seating. You can sit here and relax and totally take your time. Spot on. One negative, the ceiling is a bit low so watch your head if you're taller than 6 feet tall.

I used to go there very often since it was close to my house and their cheesecake was nice. It's overpriced but cute. A while ago I bought a cheesecake, the last they had on display, and it was not fresh at all. I could tell because I've tried it many times, and this one should not have been up for sale. Today I went in and ordered a croissant and a cheesecake. I opened the cheesecake about 10 minutes after I purchased it and it was SOLID FROZEN. It was meant to be my breakfast but I simply couldn't eat it. I went downstairs to complain and they lied to me and said they always sold a 'semi frozen' cheesecake. Lie, I've had many before, never even a bit frozen. Then another staff came and said it was his mistake because he should have let me know that I must wait 45 minutes before consuming. They just care more about sales than customers. They were very dismissive and I was being very polite. Never buying there again.

The place has some really nice looking desserts that are good in flavor but not specially delicious. The price is high, maybe overpriced. I think they could totally do redecorate the place, feels a little old compre to their pastries and fame. The staff is friendly.

It’s been more than 100 years... the creme brûlée used to be much better when the owner glazed it.

Love pattisarries in Barcelona. We found this one about a short walk from our hotel. Great selection, service was very positive and also offered a short look inside the kitchen on the process of making the cakes and chocolate. Price reasonable too. Feel free to takeout or sit inside the restaurant.
