We booked a room and then the corona restrictions came out and one of our friends could not come as he lives in another town. He asked to return the money as he could not come and obviously its not his fault. The receptionist agreed to give his money back and said that he sent it. The money never arrived. What was it? Not cool at all. The expirience of the room was 3 of 5 though.
I had no idea what to expect, but I don't play a lot of games so I was mildly skeptical. It turned out to be an *awesome* evening. The game/mystery was fun and well-constructed. It was humorous without being cutesy, and highly engaging. As a group activity it really worked well for our band of four; we all contributed and participated evenly. The game was the right level of difficulty - we were trying to win (we did!) right up until the last 90 seconds. I am looking forward to going back and trying the other game. All in all, it's an excellent way to spend an hour with friends. Big thumbs up :D
When you get so many intrusive clues your only solving the room because they're telling you how, you know you're in trouble. I think these places suffer with an urge to deliver success, so they're piping clues whenever they think your stuck, just to keep you on schedule. You'll probably write a nicer review if you're successful and get out in time. Not the way I like it run. It felt pushy and like a false victory. Don't go if you have claustrophobia or a fear of the dark. They'll tell you it's fine, but it's clearly not.
One of the best experience you can have in Barcelona. Especially good for recharge and start over and think different. Komnata Quest gives unusual experience, close to reality, not just logic game, but with a story, being involved to a historic part of it...lockers, chains, darkness, candles...Excellent!!
